On 22 September 2014, a free trade agreement between Canada and South Korea was signed. The agreement covers trade in goods and services, investment, government procurement, intellectual property, and environment and labor cooperation. Once fully implemented, the agreement will eliminate nearly all duties.

The agreement must be ratified by both countries before entering into force.
