Ecuador's Ministry of Labor has published Ministerial Decree MDT-2021-276, which sets the basic minimum monthly salary for 2022 at USD 425. The minimum monthly salary is used for various tax-related purposes, including as the minimum basis for social security contributions. The decree is effective from 1 January 2022.
