On 10 September 2024, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) issued its final judgment in the Apple State aid case. In the judgment, the court confirmed the European Commission's 2016 decision that Ireland has granted Apple unlawful aid and set aside the 2020 judgment of the General Court that had annulled the decision.
