On 9 and 10 December 2009, the parliament adopted two Budget laws for 2010, i.e.: (i) the Law on State Social Insurance Budget and (ii) the Law on State and Municipalities Budget, as well as the accompanying amendments to the tax laws. When proclaimed by the President, the amendments will generally take effect on 1 January 2010.
