On 8 December 2015, Belgium's Ministry of Finance announced that the requirement to report payments of EUR 100,000 or more to residents in Cyprus, Luxembourg and Seychelles no longer applies. The change is made for these three countries because they have been found to be largely compliant with the OECD international standard for information exchange ({News-2015-11-04/A/6- previous coverage}).
