According to a release from the Andorran government, officials from Andorra and Uruguay met on 24 March 2023 to discuss bilateral relations, including Andorra's interest in the negotiation and signing of an income and capital tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
