The Kazakhstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that an agreement has been reached with Albania to accelerate the negotiation process for the signing of an income tax treaty. Discussions for a treaty have been ongoing since 2014. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
